LA RIOJA
La Rioja is the oldest DO in Spain, located on the banks of the Ebro River.
The Sierra de Cantabria protects the vineyards from the cold of the north, and the nearby Atlantic somehow softens the character of the wines and the growth of a finer grape, which allows for more elegant, more complex, less astringent wines.

RIBERA DEL DUERO
The wines from this DO are characterized by a much more intense aroma that will remind us of black fruit. They come from a more extreme climate and less rainfall than in Rioja.
For this reason, the grapes from this Castilian region are smaller, with a greater tannic load, which gives the wines a stronger character.

TORO
The appellation of origin Toro offers strong and direct red wines that complement very well red meats and cured cheeses.
Between the provinces of Zamora and Valladolid, in the westernmost part of Castilla y León, its vineyards are located at a considerable average altitude of 700 meters above sea level.

PENEDÈS
The Penedès DO is located halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona and has one of the greatest diversity of grapes. It also boasts very different climates (usually mild and warm) and the largest variety of soils of all vineyards in the autonomous region of Cataluña. The wines with the longest historical tradition are the whites, generally fresh and fruity.
VT CÁDIZ
The wines of the ‘Tierra de Cádiz’ are on a par with the great Spanish wines. One of the things that distinguish these lands are the hours of sunshine that result in a high concentration of aromatic substances, which allows to obtain pure, elegant and powerful wines with balsamic notes and sweet tannins.
RUEDA
Most of the vineyards are located in the south of the province of Valladolid and in Segovia and Ávila. This area has very dry, cold winters and hot summers with cool nights that help the grapes to ripen perfectly.
The Rueda DO specializes in the production of white wines, especially the Verdejo variety.

JEREZ
Most Jerez wines are produced using the traditional system of soleras and criaderas. This very unique system is based on rows of barrels arranged in three layers.
The wine to be bottled is always extracted from the casks at ground level.
This is why this method is called Solera, because “Solera” comes from “suelo”, which means floor).

RÍAS BAIXAS
This famous Galician wine region in the province of Pontevedra stands out for its clearly Atlantic climate, abundant rainfall and mild temperatures throughout the year. The absolute queen of its vines is the native white grape Albariño, a variety that produces very fresh, aromatic, fruity and personal wines, perfect with any kind of seafood.
