Hurricane Activities

Riding a horse is looking at life from a different perspective. Hurricane Hípica is located within the hotel grounds, with a small stable, a tack room and a riding ring. The horses are Andalusian bred, perfectly balanced and well tamed, and the way of riding is Natural Horsemanship, which tries not to harm the animal and to disturb it as little as possible. What is sought is to be in harmony with the horses and thus achieve an unforgettable and safe experience. Getting to know the wonderful landscapes between the sea and the mountains riding one of these horses is part of an extraordinary vacation.

Our gym is fully equipped with weight bars, exercise benches, back and pec trainers, multi-position bench or stationary bikes. If you prefer a personal training plan, an expert is at your disposal. Yoga, Pilates and stretching classes as well as a ping pong table complete the offer. We also have a wellness area equipped with a Finnish sauna and an oriental hammam. Additionally we offer different types of massages and osteopathy as well as “painless” therapy sessions by certified experts.

Our sister hotel Punta Sur, only 1km away, has a full size tennis court, located in a protected area, which allows you to play even on days with strong winds. The surface is artificial grass. Guests can rent rackets and balls. On request you can also book private lessons.

For nature lovers who wish to explore the fantastic surroundings of the hotel, Cannondale mountain bikes and sea kayaks are available for rent. More and more people are eager to explore the two natural parks in the area that offer endless spectacular biking routes, and the great Atlantic invites you to explore land- and seascapes from the kayak. This service is offered in the Hurricane gym.
