Our swimming lessons in the sea or in the pool are an ideal way to learn about the countless benefits of this activity.
This is a great opportunity to get into the sea at your own pace while practising sports and improving your confidence with the “Swim in the Sea” company.
For the human body swimming is probably the perfect sport. , because it does not cause impact or damage to bones and joints, but rather enhances their flexibility and elasticity, improves lung capacity and helps to burn fat. To relax after classes, our spacious and comfortable double rooms, our lush gardens and the delicious dishes of our great restaurant await you.

Tarifa is a vibrant city full of history, culture and delicious cuisine.

Weather in Tarifa
Tarifa enjoys an Atlantic/Mediterranean climate characterized by mild winters and cooler summers than in other cities. Winter temperatures typically range between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius, while summer temperatures rarely reach 30 degrees Celsius or more. The city has a high average of sunny days per year, and rainfall is scarce, concentrated mainly in the autumn, winter and early spring months. A characteristic of Tarifa’s climate is the frequent winds that make this little gem a top destination for water sports enthusiasts.

Gastronomy in Tarifa
Tarifa’s most famous dish is Almadraba Bluefin Tuna. Nowhere else is it eaten in as many variations as here. It is also famous for its goat cheeses, made from Payoya goat milk, and its delicious meat from Retinto cattle, a local breed of extensive livestock. These delicacies are best paired with one of the great wines from the Sanlucar, Jerez or Serranía de Ronda area.

The surroundings of Tarifa
Tarifa is located at the southernmost point of continental Europe, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. It has many idyllic beaches with crystal-clear waters, ideal locations for a dream holiday. On the edge of Bolonia there is a Roman city with its amphitheatre, temples, baths and market. From Tarifa you can travel to the African continent, specifically to Tangier, in just 35 minutes. The natural parks of Los Alcornocales and El Estrecho that make up its territory give it an exceptional natural wealth.

Thanks to the Levante and Poniente winds, Tarifa is world-renowned for being the mecca of gliding sports such as Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Wingfoil or Stand Up Paddle. In fact, the main world competitions in these modalities are held annually. Other great attractions are sports such as scuba diving, open water swimming, hiking, mountain biking or climbing, as well as bird or whale watching.

Required minimum stay in Hotel Hurricane Tarifa

The minimum number of days required to reserve a room depend on the season.

In low season we normally require 2 days during the weekends.
During the rest of the week we will be happy to reserve your room for a single night.

To make it possible for you to enjoy a long stay at our hotel, a minimum of 3, 4 or up to 7 nights may be required
in mid + high season. This varies according to the availability of rooms.

If you reserve online, our booking engine will indicate the minimum stay required for the dates you desire.
If you book by email , our team will inform you about the minimum stay.

Cancellation Policy Hotel Hurricane Tarifa

We request 25% of the total amount of your stay to guarantee your reservation.
Reservations are not considered firm until the corresponding deposit has been received and confirmation sent by email.

Should you have to cancel and inform us up to 15 days prior to arrival, we will refund your deposit in full.
In case of cancellation less than 15 days before arrival we do not refund your deposit.

If you wish to bring your pet with you, please read our terms and conditions concerning animals:
Daily rate per dog or cat: 30€
Deposit per pet: 200€ upon check-in
If at the time of check-out your room is found without damage or excessive dirt (p.e. sheets, mattresses, curtains or duvets), this deposit will be taken off your invoice.
Otherwise we will have to charge you for all damaged objects according to our price list which you will find in frequently asked questions and also in the internal regulations at the bottom of this page.
